True Poker is a great online site that offers poker tournaments and cash games for real money. What makes it stand out from the crowd is the fact that it offers generous rewards to active players. This VIP section is simply called Elite Benefits, and it has plenty to offer if you become part of it.
First of all, let’s see how the point system works on this platform. Simply put, the essential thing for becoming a member and progressing through levels in the Elite program is collecting Player Points (PPs). To collect them, all you have to do is play cash games and tournaments on the site, and you’ll be rewarded every time you are dealt in a real money hand in cash games or play in a real-money tournament.
Apart from Player Points, which can help you can spend in the True Poker store and redeem them for all kinds of prizes, you’ll also receive the so-called Benefit Points (BPs). Every time you pay a fee for a tournament, you’ll receive 5.5 BPs for $1. For instance, if you make a buy-in for a tournament that costs $20 and pay a $2 fee, you’ll get a total of 11 BPs (2 x 5.5). Benefit Points cannot be redeemed, but they are important for progressing through levels. Almost every USA online poker site uses this type of rewarding system if they have a tiered loyalty scheme.
The Levels
There are currently six levels that are part of the loyalty scheme on True Poker.
The basic level is called Player, and everyone gets a Player badge once they enroll in the loyalty program. There aren’t many benefits for this level, since it’s a starting one.
The next one is Rounder, which requires 750 BPs collected within a month and offers $50 bonus cash and various other benefits.
The third level is called Grinder and requires 3,000 BPs within a month. You’ll receive even more bonuses and a better rate for PPs.
The next level is Veteran, and it requires 7,5000 BPs in a month. Once you reach it, you’ll receive 2.5x more PPs and other goodies.
The fifth level is called Legend and requires 100,000 BPs in a year. You’ll get two reward bonuses that total $5,500, special cash rewards, and much more.
The final level is called Icon, and it’s probably invite-only since there’s no info on how many points you need. You’ll be treated like a king if you reach this level.
